Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer-songwriter. Taylor Swift's tales focus on the pain of an infant girl. Swift started to exhibit an enthusiasm for the industry of music from a very young age. Her career progressed rapidly beyond the roles of children's entertainers to her first public appearance in front of thousands. Swift was eleven years old when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the following year, she began writing songs, and also picked up the guitar. She drew inspiration from the country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift moved from Pennsylvania with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to reaching out to the country music labels.
