Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is well-known as the pioneer of modern-day scientific research of children's memory as eyewitnesses as well as the role of children victimization in court. Professor Goodman is a prolific author and has been awarded numerous awards and grants. She has consulted with numerous government agencies and governments across the world regarding policies and studies on child victims in the legal system. She acts as an expert consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has been president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division as well as three divisions of the Child and Family Practice and Policy Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
