Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her best-known role is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting while attending the Preparatory School. At the end of the 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her luck in TV as well as films. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as a guest star in a few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood and was filming in the mid 2000's. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn was on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on his relationship with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
